Alexandra Littaye is a Development and Research Associate at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment where her main activities involve maximising gift support, writing development proposals and industry reports. Alexandra completed her doctorate in geography at Oxford University, focusing on networks of small-scale foo producers in Mexico, USA and Scotland. During her doctorate, she co-founded the consultancy group, FEW4ALL providing expertise on food, energy and water security and sustainability issues. She also launched her business, Azure, preparing gluten-free foods made from blue corn flour sourced from indigenous farmers in Mexico. Alexandra's research focus lies at the intersection between different actors promoting food security, from academics, grassroots movements, business and policy.
