Bespoke courses are delivered in partnership with leading organizations in the relevant field of expertise in order to augment the experiential base and help continue the integration of the course content beyond the time spent in the classroom. In other instances, bespoke programmes are designed for individual organisations and their needs. In contrast to open programme executive education these internal engagements can address very specific objectives and strategic planning.

Deliberate course design combined with the expertise of the Smith School's critical research areas offers an approach to executive education that interlaces the Smith School’s organizational goals for excellence in research and enterprise engagement to the empowerment of individuals for similar acts of leadership in their work. In tandem with the integrated graduate studies programmes the Smith School is a location of educational leadership for developing the knowledge and individuals to influence change for sustainable environmental futures through improved and reimagined relationships between enterprise and the environment.
