Dr C.P. Triantafyllidis is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Sustainable Finance Programme, at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment (SSEE). He received his Ph.D. degree from University of Macedonia in Greece, department of Applied Informatics - School of Information Sciences. He was a visiting Ph.D. student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2012 and a sponsored visiting researcher in the department of Engineering Sciences at University of Oxford in 2015. He then joined Imperial College London as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate, working on optimization for complex energy networks at the Centre for Process Systems Engineering. In 2016 he was with the department of Chemical Engineering at UCL as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate, working on scientific software development for efficient modelling of various classes of optimization problems. His research interests are in the fields of Computational Optimization, Algorithms and Operations Research with applications for the Environment, Finance and Systems Biology.
