Research Fellow named author of the month by the CMI

Dr Mick Blowfield, Senior Research Fellow at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, has been named as the CMI’s (Chartered Management Institute) author of the month for June 2012.

In February 2012 he was awarded the CMI Management Book of the Year award for Corporate Responsibility, alongside co-author Alan Murray.

Corporate Responsibility faced competition from over 250 books in the Management and Leadership Textbook category. Category Judge Dr Karin Moser said: “Unlike many other textbooks, this one takes a truly international perspective and is relevant for a wide audience, including students but also practicing managers”.

 Dr Blowfield also took part in a live Q&A session for the CMI.
