Partnership with the Smith School
By partnering in the development of essential environmental knowledge and understanding, organizations and individuals have the opportunity to make an impact on the environmental challenges facing our planet.
Every area of our research and teaching presents interactive possibilities for involvement at different levels, including naming opportunities, participation in strategy formation, partnership in research programmes and allocation of resources to address specific challenges as well as involvement in events such as the annual Smith School World Forum on Enterprise and the Environment, which is rapidly being established as the leading international environmental conference.

Endowment funding partners
We ensure all endowment funding partners are fully engaged in the life and success of the School. Major funding partners are invited to an annual Smith School Benefaction meeting to receive an annual report and to discuss with the Director and his senior colleagues the development plans for the School.
These are just a few of the funding and partnership opportunities we offer and would be delighted to talk to you about:
- Funding an environmentally innovative building on the new Radcliffe Observatory Quarter site in central Oxford
- Endowment of Chairs, Lectureships, and the Director’s post
- Crucial contributions to core funding to cover central running costs into the future
- Establishing new Centres in the School.
