Dr Xiaoyu Yan
Xiaoyu completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Queen Mary, University of London, in 2008. He then joined the Energy Research Group based in the School of Engineering and Materials Science at Queen Mary as a postdoctoral research assistant, working on the assessment of nano metallic particles as alternative fuels for internal combustion engines. His expertise covers performance of alternative fuels in internal combustion engines, life cycle analysis for alternative fuels, energy demand, environmental impacts, and policies in the transport sector.
