Owen Owens
Owen completed an MSc at the University of Manitoba in Canada, focusing on the geochemical role of first-year sea ice on atmosphere-ocean gas exchange in the Canadian Arctic. Since, he has worked in the European head office of IUCN in Brussels and in the private sector as a chemical researcher where he developed new methods for recapturing hydrogen from industrial waste gas streams. At the Smith School, he has worked on various projects that work to bring science and policy together to improve government and enterprise decision making.
