World Forum
The World Forum on Enterprise and the Environment (WFEE) is rapidly becoming established as the leading international environmental conference. Each year the World Forum brings together 120 global decision makers and thinkers to explore the key challenges and critical milestones in our transition to sustainability. The key objective of the World Forum is to provide global leaders the opportunity to set out solutions today for the world of tomorrow.
The 2009 World Forum, ‘Is There A Model For Low Carbon Growth?’, brought together the Heads of State of Rwanda and the Maldives, Al Gore, Lord Browne, Lord Giddens and other leading figures from the policy, business and academic communities.
The 2010 World Forum theme was ‘Low Carbon Mobility: Air, Sea and Land’ which explored a vision of sustainable mobility in 2050, and the necessary steps to realising it.
The 2011 World Forum theme was ‘Valuing Ecosystem Services: From New Commitments to Strategic Action’, which took a fresh look at ecosystem services and searched out solutions to the problems now before us
