Coronavirus COVID-19 information:
We are still planning for all of our Summer 2020 courses to be held in Oxford to go ahead. However, in light of coronavirus (COVID-19) we will not require successful applicants to pay the course fees until the situation becomes clearer and would advise them not to commit to other related expenses (i.e. travel). We aim to confirm and re-confirm courses by the end of April 2020. It is possible that courses may need to be postponed, but we will continue to monitor events and follow UK Government guidance. We will also be providing successful applicants for 2020 courses with the option to defer their enrolment to 2021 should they prefer to do so. Please contact: email@example.com for any queries in relation to this.
The course fee is £5,000 for attendees from the private sector, and £3,750 for attendees from the public sector and civil society. For both of these sectors the course fee includes all teaching costs, en-suite accommodation at an Oxford college for five nights, breakfast, lunch and several dinners. It does not include the cost of travel to and from Oxford, visas, or any personal expenses you may incur.
We have a small number of scholarships to support participation on the course. These are only for applicants from the public sector and civil society, with a particular preference for candidates from developing countries.
Scholarships will cover a varying proportion of the course fees depending on need, and are intended to increase diversity and accessibility.
To be considered for a scholarship please also provide a letter of endorsement from an appropriate senior manager (ideally the CEO or Chair of your organisation) alongside your completed application form and CV. The deadline for scholarship applications is 31 March 2020, and all applications for scholarships will only be considered after this date.
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate their suitability for the course in terms of:
- The relevance of the course to their occupation and organisation
- Their experience and potential, particularly in areas related to course content
- Their initial objectives for learning and their intentions for their capstone project
"I loved the course. The combination of content, fellow participants and location made for a stimulating week."
"With limited background in either finance or sustainability this was a great and comprehensive introduction. The setting and organisation was perfect as well!"
"I go back with a lot of food for thought, an enhanced network and a handful of interesting ideas to think about. Thank you for making it possible."
"Excellent course, the material was diverse and interesting. I gained several new ideas to take home with me and implement in my work. Networking is fantastic."
"My key learning has been in terms of my own reflections of how I would want my career to take shape and this course and people have helped me a great deal."
