• Research Associate in Water Infrastructure Investment

Academic Profile

Thérèse Rudebeck is a Research Associate at the Smith School, where she works on the programme 'Bridging the Gap', focusing on exploring innovative solutions to the challenge of insufficient investment in water infrastructure in developing countries. This intersects with her PhD research, which focused on Corporate Water Stewardship, and how companies from various sectors (Food & Beverage, Textile & Apparel, and Metals & Mining) can further sustainable water management and governance within and beyond their own operational 'fencelines'.

Ms Rudebeck holds an M.A. (University of St Andrews) in Sustainable Development and International Relations, and an MPhil (University of Cambridge) in Geographical Research. She will submit her PhD (University of Cambridge), supported by the UK Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) in 2017. Alongside her studies, she has worked with the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), the Global Water Partnership (GWP), the 2030 Water Resources Group (WRG), and the European Water Stewardship (EWS).
