Net zero emissions

To keep global warming to 1.5 – 2°C we need to balance carbon emissions and their removal from the atmosphere by the middle of the century – net zero emissions. We’re studying the economic, technical and behavioural changes that are needed for net zero and the policy interventions that can bring them about. Net zero starts with drastically reducing emissions, but we are also interested in the economics of greenhouse gas removal and negative emissions technology.
