Oxford Smith School is proud to support two global youth training programmes launched in 2023. Aimed at an under-35 year old audience the programmes provide an opportunity for participants to network in the sustainability space with peers and student facilitators on current Oxford MSc courses, and learn from Oxford faculty and other experts in the field of climate and sustainability.

The Summer SCENE programme supports a graduate, under-30 youth and early career audience from the Global South to engage with sustainability policy ahead of the G20. The Youth Climate Training programme is a collaboration between Oxford Net Zero and the Global Youth Coalition, specifically aimed at supporting youth negotiation at the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP).
