Building on the COP27 global climate conference.

The workshop kicks off a COP27 debrief and features panel discussions on a net-zero strategy and opportunities for business and policy impact.

It is organised by Aoife Brophy, Departmental Research Lecturer in Innovation and Enterprise, and Juliane Reinecke, Professor of Management Studies, with Oxford Net Zero, an interdisciplinary climate change research initiative at the University, and the Copenhagen Business School-led Actionable Futures Project.

Juliane explains the purpose of the workshop: ‘While more than one-third of world’s largest publicly traded companies have set net zero targets, we have yet to understand what a credible net-zero strategy looks like.

‘We want to take the momentum of COP27 to discuss strategies for developing and implementing public and private net-zero commitments that also take into account nature and social justice.’
