Adriana Ortiz

Profile

Adriana is the Executive Education Coordinator at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, responsible for managing custom programmes from initial concept through to successful delivery. Her work includes liaising with speakers, overseeing contracts and payments, booking venues, and coordinating logistics such as catering, accommodation, travel, and guest communications. She ensures each programme runs smoothly and provides an excellent experience for participants and partners.

Before taking on this role, she worked within the Smith School as Administrative Assistant for the Climate Research Forum. Her earlier experience includes positions as Clinical Trials Coordinator at the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit and various administrative and coordination roles at Oxfordshire County Council’s Adult Social Services. 

Originally from Argentina, Adriana studied English, trained and worked as a teacher of English as a foreign language before moving to the UK.
