Profile
Jessica Leigh is Head of Capacity Building and Partnerships at the Oxford Sustainable Finance Group, University of Oxford. She has over 15 years of experience dedicated to energy, climate and sustainability issues. At the Oxford Sustainable Finance Group, Jessica leads initiatives to further sustainable finance research and practice, capacity building and education. She focuses on development of strategic partnerships to drive impact with major private, public, and academic institutions. Jessica is responsible for the Oxford Sustainable Finance Group’s portfolio of online, in-person and customised programmes, which target different types of organisations, levels of seniority, and regions across the globe. She is Deputy Director of the Public and Third Sector Academy for Sustainable Finance at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment.
Previously Jessica was Principal Consultant at Ricardo plc, where she led projects and teams globally for the Energy Practice focusing on capacity building, innovation and leadership, renewable energy, decentralised energy, sustainable development, climate finance, decarbonisation policy and economics. She has also worked for a number of private and non-profit organisations on business, financial, and R&D strategy, as well as policy and regulation.
Jessica holds a BA in International Affairs from the University of California, Berkeley and a MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford.
