Laura Broadfoot

Profile

As Head of Events, Laura leads on the events strategy at the Smith School, ensuring that our ambitious events programme provides ample opportunity to connect, inspire and inform our key audiences and to showcase the school’s invaluable research and impact.  

Laura comes to the Smith School from Oxford University Press where she led a team developing events and professional development courses for teachers and school leaders from international and bilingual schools around the world. Activity ranged from small subject-level workshops, to large multi-day conferences with Ministry of Education input, to online CPD courses, all designed to enhance teaching and learning and thereby improve educational outcomes for learners.

Laura has an MA in Languages from King’s College Cambridge.
