Profile
Melina De Bona is a Research Associate at the Climate Litigation Lab at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. Her work centers on developing academic research outputs to help inform and shape climate change greenwashing litigation globally.
Prior to Oxford, she was a Director Attorney and Adjunct Professor at New York University School of Law, where she focused on the nexus between human rights and climate change, the right to a healthy environment, and rights of nature. She has also worked in international arbitration, white-collar crime investigations, and sustainability at Freshfields LLP.
Melina holds a J.D. from NYU School of Law and a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Chicago (highest honors). She is a member of the New York Bar.
