Profile

Neha is the Communications and Events Lead for the State of Carbon Dioxide Removal (SoCDR) initiative at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. She leads the development and delivery of SoCDR’s communications and stakeholder engagement strategy, working to amplify the visibility, accessibility, and global impact of the initiative’s work.

With over nine years of experience in strategic communications across sectors including FMCG, healthcare, travel, and luxury, Neha brings a strong background in campaign development, digital media, and stakeholder management. Her previous roles span both agency and in-house environments, most recently with the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), where she served as Communications & Engagement Manager.

Her work has included leading award-winning purpose-driven campaigns, managing global brand launches, and developing cross-functional communications strategies for organisations. Neha is passionate about using storytelling and creative content to simplify complex topics and foster inclusive dialogue.

She holds an MSc in Digital Marketing Management from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media and Communication from the University of Mumbai.
