Will Hugh-Jones

Profile

Will is a Researcher in Sustainable Business Law in the Sustainable Law Programme. His research focuses on developing novel financial and legal mechanisms to respond to climate-related risks.

Will trained as a corporate lawyer at Ashurst, with broad experience advising on M&A, infrastructure projects, major government policy initiatives, and corporate governance matters. Previously, Will was a Strategy Consultant at the Commonwealth Scientific Industrial Research Organisation advising on the development of energy projects and hydrogen RD&D.

Will holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Science from the Australian National University, and is reading for a Master of Philosophy at Oxford.
