Profile

Dr Yin Yang is an Honorary Research Associate at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment - a research centre at the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford. His research interests focus on international energy infrastructure investment, real assets investment, clean energy, economic cycle, ESG, sustainability, etc. He is currently working as a senior researcher at the Energy Development Research Institute, China Southern Power Grid. He is keen to promote international collaboration in the energy and infrastructure related areas.

Dr Yin Yang obtained his DPhil in Economic Geography from University of Oxford in 2016. Since then, he worked in London for energy infrastructure and real estate investments. In addition, he is the co-founder of the Oxford International Infrastructure Consortium (OXIIC). He organised two successful international conferences with the support of the Smith School and ECI, inviting 38 leading experts from World Bank, World Economic Forum, International Finance Corporation, OECD, AIIB, ADB, EBRD, G20 Investment and Infrastructure Working Group, Harvard University, Legal & General, Macquarie Capital, Allianz Global Investors and more than 300 delegates around the world.
