Profile

Samia specialises in translating evidence-backed research into high-impact policies and practices and has managed projects, partnerships, and policy engagements for governments, multi-partner research centres such as UChicago Innovation Center, and large institutions such as UNICEF across sectors including education, healthcare, and economic growth. Samia deeply cares about integrating emerging technology and data governance into decision-making systems that, while being efficient are also inclusive and sustainable. At CGFI, Samia is keen to support the adoption of climate data for sustainable financial decision-making. Samia has multidisciplinary education interests with formal education spanning engineering, arts, and policy. She holds a Master's in Public Policy from the University of Oxford as a Kofi Annan-Weidenfeld Hoffmann scholar. Samia was also a Deutsche Bank fellow at Ashoka University. In her spare time, she writes short fiction and is soon to publish her debut book.
