Our current executive education courses

We have extensive experience of providing world class teaching to multiple knowledge levels, international audiences, and with senior leaders.

Public and Third Sector Academy for Sustainable Finance (P3SA)

The Public and Third Sector Academy for Sustainable Finance Academy (P3SA) is a global centre of learning and capacity building focused on how the public and third sectors can grasp the opportunities associated with sustainable finance.

Established in 2021 the P3S Academy supports central and local government, regulators, supervisory authorities, multilateral institutions, campaigning NGOs, charities, and philanthropy.

The Academy is designed to become a significant and agile resource for building capacity on sustainable finance. We are focused on the mass delivery of a high-quality introductory course our first year, and are developing a portfolio of bespoke courses, training, workshops, events and more.

Rankings

  • Oxford is ranked 1st in the world in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and has been for six consecutive years.
  • The School of Geography and the Environment, our home department, is consistently ranked 1st globally in the QS World University subject rankings for Geography.

Graduate students

We have a vibrant cluster of graduate students. Each year we supervise or co-supervise a range of masters and doctoral students.

We aim to take on a very small number of exceptional doctoral students each year and aim to offer at least one full scholarship per year. This is funding dependent and under regular review.

Graduate students must be enrolled at the University of Oxford and should normally be admitted by our home department, the School of Geography and the Environment (SoGE), via its International Graduate School. Occasionally we will co-supervise graduate students from other departments at the University of Oxford.

We contribute to the examination of graduate students at the University of Oxford and at other universities too.

Research assistants and bursaries

We occasionally hire students as part-time research assistants and provide bursaries where graduate research is directly aligned with our research priorities.

If you are already admitted or enrolled at the University of Oxford and are interested in joining our research team, please contact Dr Ben Caldecott, Director of the Oxford Sustainable Finance Group. Please include an up-to-date CV and statement of suitability in any such expressions of interest.

Oxford Sustainable Finance Students’ Society

We co-founded, support, and fund the Oxford Sustainable Finance Students’ Society. The Society connects students working on sustainable finance across Oxford and organises events, reading groups, and excursions.
